Mike Smith brings nearly 30 years of experience as an executive coach and advisor for some of the world’s most respected brands in multiple industries and stages. Over the course of 16 years with the NFL, Mike held multiple leadership positions, from Media Group Finance leader, SVP of Finance and Administration, and interim CIO to the NFL’s first SVP of Talent Management and finally, CHRO. Prior to the NFL, he held CFO roles for NBC in Los Angeles and Philadelphia and with Deloitte working with the office’s largest client, Comcast.

After his highly successful career with leading organizations, Mike transitioned to executive coaching, human capital consulting, and talent advisory. With a reputation for execution in the face of tough challenges, Mike leverages his background in leading critical project teams, launching new functions, and maximizing team performance to drive better business results for his clients. Having served as both a CHRO and CFO, he brings a unique viewpoint to business and talent strategy alignment and a passion for guiding leaders and teams to success.

Mike is pursuing a Doctoral degree in Leadership and Learning from Vanderbilt University. A Philadelphia native, he received his MBA from Villanova and undergraduate degree from LaSalle. Mike attended both Stanford University’s Talent Leader Program and Columbia University’s Coaching Program and is certified in multiple leadership assessment tools, including Emotional Intelligence, Thinking Preferences, and DISC.
